The distance in response area creates a challenge in providing prompt delivery of Emergency Medical Services.  Parkland Ambulance has met this challenge through the creation of First Responder groups in various locations throughout the Prince Albert regions.  The groups that work closely with Parkland Ambulance to meet this challenge are currently found in:  Candle Lake, Canwood, Lakeland (Christopher Lake), Little Red Reserve, Shellbrook, and Weyakin.
