Join us for a classroom babysitter class. We will follow all health and safety protocols outlined by the province and Canadian Red Cross. Please note that we ask your child please bring the following to the course: face mask, water bottle, lunch (microwave onsite) and any snacks they need for the day. Parents dropping off the child will need to sign in and complete a health questionnaire for the child. We have a safe classroom space with washroom facilities and hand sanitizer available.
The Babysitting course, refreshed and revised, now has a greater emphasis on First Aid skills. The Canadian Red Cross Babysitting course covers everything from managing difficult behaviours to essential content on leadership and professional conduct as a babysitter. Babysitting promises to deepen and enhance the responsibility that older youth feel when caring for younger children. This updated curriculum, complete with new science, also provides improved learning when it comes to giving the appropriate care in the event of an emergency. What will your child learn?
